The 25th International Building Decoration Fair (Guangzhou) has successfully concluded, delivering an exciting and captivating event. In addition to the exhibitor-led “Design Box” exhibition, the organizers introduced a special “Material Bleachery” design laboratory, creating a platform for cross-disciplinary presentations. The objective was to immerse the audience in the diverse possibilities of materials and witness the innovative expressions of designers from various fields. The exhibition gathered a plethora of creative and artistically valuable design works, showcasing original prototypes that provided inspiration for designers and brand owners.
Land-Deco collection by Guangzhou Fine Art & Artie
At this exhibition, Artie showcased the environmentally focused research project “Land-Deco” in collaboration with Guangzhou Fine Art College, responding to the trend of interdisciplinary and art integration, addressing social issues related to sustainable development. The materials used in the project were derived from the surplus generated during the production process of Artie’s furniture products. By merging outdoor furniture with installation design, the works were likened to natural decorations, akin to jewelry adorned by the earth, breaking the inherent division and perception of traditional product specialization.
