Speech by Tu Yajun - Founder of Mo Academy of Design
The 2nd Artie Cup International Space Design Competition award ceremony concluded on March 19th, 2023. After intense deliberation and strict screening by the judging panel, a total of 11 winners were selected from the 40 entries in the preliminary round, including first, second, and third prizes as well as honorable mentions. During the award ceremony, the winners were announced while participants’ innovative designs were also recognized.
Juding Panel and Audiences
Held at the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) Global Garden Lifestyle Festival, this competition attracted designers from around the world. Their task was to “Redefining Home” through innovative, scientific, forward-thinking, and practical design proposals, which would provide more space for expression in the home, focusing on sustainable, healthy, and beautiful living.
The first prize was awarded to 「Cloud Plan」 designed by Wang Pengxu.

The third prize was awarded to「Chile House」designed by Gao Yue,「Floating & Refreshing」designed by Chen Kaiying’s team and 「In The Same Boat」designed by Zhang Baicong.

The Excellence Award was awarded to「Beyond The Window」designed by Jian Baihui,「Boundless Fun House」designed by Tan Lu, 「Coast, Conch, and Hermit Crabs」designed by Chen Zhizhen, 「Dynamic Living」designed by Wen Qianqian, and 「Refuge Gift Box」designed by Xu Zhe.
